Owl City by Adam Young
前幾天看牙醫時
等待中，碰巧翻閱到雜誌介紹，順手記下~
Owl City
一人樂團，由來自明尼蘇達州的Adam Young獨力完成
音樂類型屬於synthpop，
也就是經由混聲器調配出的流行樂，
剛開始藉由My Space發聲，
隨後由Universal Republic簽下
09年發行新專輯Ocean Eyes，
而主打Fireflies也在BILLBOARD拿下好成績

Season in the sun
Season in the sun。
聽起來有股翻開畢業紀念冊書頁的味道，
很符合下個禮拜的心情( 沒想到畢業的心情，也要預演一下 : ) )
獻給，
所有的畢業生
這首歌由比利時詩人Jacques Brel創作，
並命名為Le Moribond /The Dying Man，
為的是揣摩瀕臨垂死的心情。
不巧的是在1961創作後，1974被診斷成癌症。
與是好友Rod McKuen便將它翻譯成英文，
但一波三折，
起初Kingston Trio的Bob Shane演唱，可是沒紅
又由當時當紅的Beach Boys也翻唱製成單曲，卻又因故沒有發行
最後，
由當時錄音伴奏的Terry Jacks為追悼友人修改重錄成為現今熟悉的版本
(比較年輕~ 女主角也換成了Michelle 曲風也走向勵志)
這個版本在英美皆熱銷超過六百張
Westlife也於1999年翻唱過
