Owl City by Adam Young

前幾天看牙醫時
等待中，碰巧翻閱到雜誌介紹，順手記下~

Owl City
一人樂團，由來自明尼蘇達州的Adam Young獨力完成
音樂類型屬於synthpop，
也就是經由混聲器調配出的流行樂，
剛開始藉由My Space發聲，
隨後由Universal Republic簽下
09年發行新專輯Ocean Eyes，
而主打Fireflies也在BILLBOARD拿下好成績
Fireflies -- Owl City
不過個人比較喜歡Vanilla Twilight
聽起來真的有淡淡的香草味道 : )

這首同時也是一夜台北預告片的插曲 :P

Season in the sun。

聽起來有股翻開畢業紀念冊書頁的味道，
很符合下個禮拜的心情( 沒想到畢業的心情，也要預演一下 : )  )
獻給，
所有的畢業生


這首歌由比利時詩人Jacques Brel創作，
並命名為Le Moribond /The Dying Man，
為的是揣摩瀕臨垂死的心情。
不巧的是在1961創作後，1974被診斷成癌症。
與是好友Rod McKuen便將它翻譯成英文，
但一波三折，
起初Kingston Trio的Bob Shane演唱，可是沒紅
又由當時當紅的Beach Boys也翻唱製成單曲，卻又因故沒有發行

最後，
由當時錄音伴奏的Terry Jacks為追悼友人修改重錄成為現今熟悉的版本
(比較年輕~ 女主角也換成了Michelle 曲風也走向勵志)
這個版本在英美皆熱銷超過六百張
Westlife也於1999年翻唱過

面對機會，你會心喜，但偶爾也會恐懼，怕抓錯、怕錯過。這是人的天性，但是沒關係，膽量可以被訓練，恐懼可以被管理。

美國哥倫比亞電視公司（CBS）的艾美獎得獎節目《驚險大挑戰》（The Amazing Race）主持人菲爾．科漢（Phil Keoghan）在其所寫的《別浪費機會》（No Opportunity Wasted）書中，提供許多實用建議，以下摘錄其中部份的內容。

1. 讓自己習慣不舒服的感覺

時常把自己丟在全新的情境，習慣不熟悉的感覺，逼自己走出個人的舒適圈（comfort zone），逐漸消除面對陌生情境時的恐懼。
像是快速學習某個新能力，例如語言或新電腦軟體等，在時間壓力下，你必須快速克服對於新知的不熟悉感。
或是，學習用最少的資源完成事情，測試自己的應變力。也許老闆核准你一筆預算去完成某個專案，你可以自己設定，如果只使用其中90％，是否也可以順利完成專案。

2. 偶爾要測試自己的極限

人的能力和性格都有一定的極限，但也因此限制了你承受風險、接受新機會的可能性。
好比運動選手，每每挑戰自己的體力極限，持續刷新世界紀錄。職場也是一樣，很多時候你也不知道自己原來有這麼大的潛力。
如果下次主管交代你不可能的任務，倒不如抱著姑且一試的心態，若果真做到了，那麼可以期待未來將有更多更重要的機會落到你手上。即使最後你沒做到，也沒什麼損失，因為這工作有一定的難度，失敗的結果早就在預料之中。


3. 吸收新知消除不確定感

即使你面對的是前所未見的情況，但是當你了解愈多，恐懼也就愈低。
今年初新上任、同時也是荷商天遞（TNT）第一位女性總經理的李澂涓就是其中的受惠者。2002年網路泡沫化，產業環境產生劇烈變動，李澂涓靠大量閱讀，消除內心恐懼。「只要誠品有新書就跑去買，然後每天回家讀3本書，」李澂涓說。
而且，喜歡吸收新資訊的人，也比較願意接受新挑戰，這一點有可能成為你在應徵工作時的一大優點。惠瑞捷總經理陳瑞銘面試新人時，就常問應徵者平常看了哪些雜誌或文章，「試探他們對新知的好奇程度有多少。」

4. 克服害怕失敗的恐懼

在所有恐懼情緒中，排名第1的正是害怕失敗。想要克服這層恐懼，首先你得問自己：怎樣才算失敗？什麼情況又可以算成功？
事實上，成功與失敗的定義應該是相對的，而非絕對。或許你在新工作上沒有達到預期想要的，例如資源或是發揮空間受到限制，但你因此學到新的專業知識，這算成功或失敗？保持彈性，才能接受不同的可能性。


5. 甩開不必要的包袱

每個人都有自我堅持，有人就是不願意和某種類型的人往來，有人非得要依循特定的工作方式。
但當你的規矩愈多，也就愈限制接受新機會、大膽冒險的可能。就好比背負幾十公斤重的行李爬山，你可能在半途就不支倒地。
如果你仔細分析，會發現其實有許多是很無謂的堅持，何不甩開這些不必要的包袱，讓自己可以更輕盈地邁開腳步，成功攻頂。

論文結束後

越來越覺得生活如果沒有留下一點記憶或是尋回伊些記憶實在好可惜
決定論文結束後把國小節奏樂、國中管樂和高中國樂的所有樂譜都整理一下
順便看一看每一首歌後面的故事，
小時候單單吹奏也沒有想這麼多~
或許找個時間重新演奏會有新的共鳴點

當然。這是件大工程。

昨日意外的聽到Norah Jones--Come away with me
Norah Jone美創作歌手，2000年代最暢銷女爵士歌手，她渾厚的嗓音像是整日工作後的熱水澡一班，令人放鬆
這張02年個人專輯Come away with me也獲得八座葛萊美獎肯定，並持續熱銷

今天意外在La Vie 設計美學站聽到 Zee Avi的歌聲
這位大馬歌手Zee Avi算是在網路時代的幸運兒，
在朋友錯過她一次演出後，而藉由youtube上傳後頗受佳評，
最後由著名音樂人傑克強森簽下，成為旗下首位自創廠牌的女歌手

這首Inspirational Songs原由凱西習賽克(Kacey Cisyk)演唱
但唱片名人麥可柯布(Mike Curb)在1977年「You  Light Up My  Life」試映後，發覺此片所描述一名年輕女子在唱片圈打轉，卻徬徨於愛情與事業的兩端，相當適合Debby Boone演唱。
果不期然，Debby以此曲進榜後蟬聯十周冠軍並打敗同時間推出獲得第80名的Kacey版
(Atlas: 在聽過兩個版本後，私心覺得Debby的聲音有種厭世不耐的感覺 XD，或許因為這個原因使得她在詮釋這類勵志歌曲時更有力量)

Golden Slumbers 伊坂幸太郎

精彩，一口氣翻玩了半本 XD
結局雖不是黑皮恩丁，但也有75分的滿意 : )
用Beatles--Golden Slumbers組曲(Golden Slumbers/Carry that Weight/The End)
如背景音樂的嵌入整個故事，讀起來倍有節奏感，
也對青柳、森口和阿一之間老友情誼有種文字外的解釋方式

最令人感觸的還是這一群老朋友舊情人的情誼
隨著年紀環境的變化可能相處的時間愈來愈少，剩至是零(樋口晴子os這是情人跟朋友的差別)
但當主角青柳歷經風波，總會利用各種直接間接的方法給予協助


看完真的好想跟朋友聊聊天，見見面喔
那種，不管發生什麼事，我就是會在你身邊旁伴尼的感覺
